A few more I ran off tonight, and what's better they were free! just downloaded them onto a dongle put them in the machine and pressed start! The pomegranate is giving me idea's for a kitchen Roman Blind or something, I wonder if there is a market for machine embroidered blinds?
Well done....did you get threads from David Drummond, he sells marathon thread which is one I use. Try some of the vairegated???spelling, ones, I have a green one which gives a lovely shaded finish for leaves. Love the pomegranate, I will have to look for that one.
ReplyDeleteWhen you get a bit more experienced and start working on fabric like silk, you will be better not hooping the fabric, but using one of the sticky backed stabilizers. I use floriani they have quite a few, and also do an information sheet on which stabilizer to use for which fabric, go onto ther website and print it off.
When I started I used to put the designs in a clear pocket folder with details of the design, stabilizer, thread colours, so I could refer back at a later date.
Enjoy the machine.....
